These cuties met up with me for a Ridgway engagement session in July and it was one of the most fun sessions, ever!
When Jules and I were working out the details, she told me that her fiancé’s daughter would be with them and asked if I’d be okay with taking photos of the three of them as well… Yes, of course!!
It was blatantly clear that Jules and Matt are totally meant for each other, and also that Jules and Riley have formed the sweetest bond.
I loved riding around with them through the county roads. We started off on the ranch I live on (located between Ridgway and Ouray), for some portraits in the aspens in our tree field and and one of our four-wheeler roads. We then made our way toward the Sneffels Range in time for an especially epic show of rosy light on the mountains during golden hour. There was a ton of laughter and awesome conversation through the whole engagement shoot.
I had been looking forward to this session for a while, as I had a great feeling about Jules from the emails we had exchanged. Our time together didn’t disappoint, and I’ll always remember this evening with fondness. Thanks friends, for riding around with me in my old car through the mountains!
