Alexandra & David’s Fairytale Telluride Elopement

The first email I received from Alexandra is one of my favorites, ever. “Hello fellow cat lover” is a most perfect introduction and from there forward I knew we would get along great!

Alexandra and her fiancé were engaged at Disneyland, have two cats and spend their non-work time making incredible costumes for cosplay. (See epic helmets in the last two photos.)  

I’m not sure if it was knowing about their engagement story... But running around the town of Telluride with them, riding up the gondola, into the woods, looking out over the epic San Juan Mountains from 11,000 feet, I seriously felt like I was watching a fairytale unfold. And if it were a fairy tale, it would have been the happily ever after part, for sure!

Thinking back on Alexandra and David's  elopement highlights some of what I love most about being a Telluride wedding photographer. The scenery can’t be beat, and the love and connection of the couples I work with is what really makes the place really come alive.
