Erin + Jamie | Dreamy Sunrise Telluride Engagement Session

When Erin contacted me to set this shoot up, we timed it so that she and her fiancé could meet me early in the morning before their respective jobs.  He is a 3rd grade teacher, and she is a librarian. A couple in education… how wonderful is that? They had just recently moved to Telluride from the Front Range a few months earlier and were enjoying all that mountain life has to offer. We talked about skiing and hiking as we walked through town to get these photos.

After our session, I got into my skis and spent a few hours taking turns.  A sunrise photo session followed by skiing… pretty much my ideal day, can’t imagine anything better.

This Telluride engagement session happened in March but due to our extended winter weather, the photos practically could’ve been taken in May. I was just in Telluride a few days ago and everyone was still wearing their ski jackets and Sorels.  There were patches of snow on the ground, and flurries even in town.

I’m so excited to shoot Erin and Jamie’s Telluride wedding this coming September!
