I met up with this gorgeous couple for a sunrise session on a chilly December morning, in downtown Telluride.
Altitude sickness and a white-out blizzard that lingered in the San Juans were our challenges for this session. But we moved our plans from sunset to sunrise after the snow had settled and after Tia and Jeremy were acclimated to the 9,000 ft elevation. It was worth the wait! The morning of this session, the sky was clear and the storm left Telluride looking like the most perfect winter wonderland.
Tia told me that she wanted that classic view of the dramatic San Juan mountains in the background for this photoshoot. We talked about a few different locations and decided on town. When we met, it was 8 degrees out, so hopping in and out of warm cars between shots was key! The way Tia and Jeremy are with each other - so clearly in love - is the sweetest! I’m so excited for them and their journey as parents.
